Mr. Surjan Singh, a dynamic leader, reflective practitioner, an enlightened source and a motivator is a force to reckon with. He is a visionary educationist with a panoramic experience of about 22 years in school education and administration. He has shown exceptionally outstanding results in B.Sc. (Honours) and M.Sc. (Physics) from Aligarh Muslim University in 2003 and 2005 respectively. He did MBA from MJP University Bareilly and B.Ed. from CCS University, Meerut. To enhance his educational administrative skills and to have an edge, he did a one year Post Graduate Diploma in School Leadership and Management (PGDSLM) from National University of Educational Planning and Administration (NUEPA), Delhi. Prior to ITBP Public School as Head of the School (Principal), he has worked for about 15 years as PGT (Physics), Head of Department, Academic Coordinator, Middle school Supervisor and House Master in CRPF Public School, Prashant Vihar, Rohini, Delhi.

His vision is to develop holistic responsible citizens who can cater to the needs of the rapidly growing society, who are tech savvy and yet able to fend for themselves keeping in mind the sustainable means of development. Providing necessary support, infrastructure, resources, making students intellectually strong, physically fit, emotionally balanced, socially connected and spiritually sound being first step towards this goal, has already been initiated and hopes to see fruition soon.

The school has recorded a meteoric rise in the educational scenario under his intellectual guidance He has efficiently transformed the school into a rapidly progressing institution. He has steered the school, the staff and the students in right and positive direction, through thick and thin, relentlessly kept up the fighting spirit and proved his abilities. He expeditiously handles multiple roles in administration, classroom teaching and beyond. His techniques of prioritization and delegation of tasks guides him to take appropriate decisions at right times. Optimum utilization of manpower, physical and financial resources and ability to resolve conflicts among different stakeholders are his core competencies which has fruitfully led to increase in number of students and financial strength.

For his commendable contribution to the school education he has been awarded and honoured with the praiseworthy achievements in academics and co-curricular activities. He has to his credit, The Best Teacher Award by Lions Club Delhi Angels (International), 2014. He is the recipient of Visionary Principal Award for excellence in values and success skills by Zenik Olympiad and Best Motivator Award by Bridge Intelia knowledge solution, 2020. With deep rooted commitment to education, he believes to inspire his students and teachers through motivational and inspirational workshops. He has conducted various workshops on the topics like Transactional analysis (TA), JoHari Window, (A tool to know self),Time management( Prioritization), Conflict Management etc.

Recently he has been awarded with a highly reputed Global Principals' Award.Global Principals' Award is felicitated to the worthy school principals every year by AKS Educational Awards, as a recognition for remarkable work and contribution in the field of education in a physical event Global Education Summit & Awards on 26th February 2022 by Dr. Dinesh Kamra CEO of AKS education awards along with other dignitaries from the field of education.
